Dormitory of SCU

Housing in the Soochow University is more than just find a place to sleep, study, or store your things. It is to join a community that full of opportunities to make new friends, learn new things, and best of all, expand your horizons. The Student Housing Division plays as the key role on managing pleasant housing experiences for residents. We provide 5 dormitories, 4 on campus and 1 off campus, and 2 special cottages for international exchange students. Furniture, well managed, and comfortable one-bed rooms to eight-bed rooms are available. Hall directors and resident assistants are there to help, but the residents manage themselves. The dormitory fee arranges from 8500NT〜35000NT every semester. Except for on campus housing affairs, the Student Housing Division also offers information on nearby private student renting information and helping them handle with rental contract problems. So, why not set a time to visit us and find your new stay.

House Renting

The housing division collects house renting information for students and helping them handle with rental contract problems.
Concerned about the language, cultural problems, we will make an agreement with landlords first. Make sure they're well prepared for the international exchange students. The average rent for one bed room with private toilet and bathroom in Taipei arranges from NT$7,500-10,000 per month. (Water and electricity payments are not included) Simple furniture, table, closet and bed are usually provided. Students who want to rent a private apartment in Taipei will be assisted upon arrival.
